1. General These terms apply to all purchases made on the website https://affina.space/ and will always be available here. All agreements regarding purchases made on the website are entered into with: Affina Ltd 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, UK, W1W 5PF info@affina.space
2. Description of Processing With an Affina Ltd ("Affina," "Affina Space," "we") membership, the customer will gain access to an online universe of learning and lifestyle content about career, wellbeing, and other topics through webinars and articles, as well as access to groups and chats with other members. Affina assumes no responsibility for the customer's/user's use of the information on the website/platform.
When setting up a membership, the customer creates a user account and ensures that the information is correct at the time of registration. The customer's login information is personal and must not be used by others unless otherwise agreed. The customer must keep login information secure so others may not gain unauthorized access. The customer is responsible for all use of their user account.
Affina sells several products independently from the FI membership, including merchandise, books, gift certificates, and tickets for events, available via an online shop at https://affina.space/ The terms listed below apply to all services provided by Affina unless otherwise specifically stated or separately agreed.
3. Entering agreement The agreement between the customer and Affina is entered when the customer's order has been received on Affina's server. When the customer's order is received, we will send an order confirmation by email with the customer's order number, name, and payment method, if any, together with a list of the services ordered. The customer's order confirmation will not be accessible through the website, and we encourage our customers to save the forwarded order confirmation.
4. Payment and Termination All prices include VAT. Please note that we charge in USD, GBP, and EUR. The exact amount charged may vary slightly from the price in USD, GBP, or EUR, depending on the current exchange rate. The applicable price is listed next to the service on the website at the time of the order. Courses, webinars, and the like should only be included in the membership fee if they are explicitly listed as free for members.
Affina reserves the right to change prices on the website if they have been erroneously specified. Affina also reserves the right to change fees and/or other costs listed on the website anytime.
The website determines payment methods by which the financial partner processes the payments (usually Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or Visa Electron, among others). Affina does not receive members' credit card data or other banking and financial information. Encryption provided by the payment partner protects all information provided in connection with the payment transaction.
When using payment cards for physical goods, the amount will be withdrawn at the time of ordering. For continuing memberships, the amount will be withdrawn when the membership has been set up and subsequently each month/year in advance. The membership is automatically renewed until termination. If we cannot withdraw the amount from the specified means of payment, we will close access to the membership site after multiple attempts. The membership must be canceled at least one day before the renewal date. If it is canceled after the renewal date, it will terminate at the end of the renewed membership period. Therefore, the purchase is not refundable. To terminate the agreement, the customer must contact Affina at info@affina.space or cancel the subscription by logging into the member site through https://affina.space/. An unpaid membership is not considered a cancellation. A cancellation is only valid once the member has received an email confirming the cancellation.
In case of malicious violation of the rules of the community and service by a member, such as disrespect for other members and employees of Affina, aggressive words or actions, advertising of their services, or spam, Affina Ltd has the right to immediately terminate the membership without refund and block the user to prevent the recurrence of such cases.
5. Delivery Time and Place Under normal circumstances, Affina confirms and ships physical goods within 5 to 7 working days after the order confirmation. Longer delivery times, if any, will be stated in the order confirmation. Delivery can take 2 days to 8 weeks, depending on the product and delivery location. The order confirmation will provide further information regarding the delivery time and place.
6. Adjustments and Changes Affina reserves the right to change the fee and other terms for the membership. The customer will be notified of any changes thirty (30) days before they come into force. However, this does not include payment changes made when a membership purchased at a discounted price is charged at the normal membership price. In such cases, the customer will be entitled to terminate the subscription from the day the changes occur.
It will be accepted if the customer does not terminate the subscription before the changes come into force. Changes that are advantageous for the customer will apply immediately without the right to termination.
7. Right of Cancellation 7.1. Membership and Purchase of Tickets The purchase of membership is binding. Affina Space is a digital service, and the customer is given direct access to the full content upon purchase. Because the customer may use the digital learning material immediately after completing the purchase, such access requires the customer to give express consent to waive the right of cancellation. This means that if the customer purchases a one-year membership, the purchase will be binding and not refundable should the customer choose to cancel before the end of the membership period. Members can close their profile anytime, though the money will not be refunded.
If the customer purchases a membership through an offer or campaign that includes physical goods, the customer must return the physical goods for a full refund. The customer covers the cost of shipping.
Upon a successful refund: The customer's access to any subscription services or benefits will be terminated immediately. The customer may not be eligible for any promotions, offers, or bonuses applicable at the time of the original subscription.
7.2. Physical Goods and Gift Certificates We offer a 14-day return policy on physical goods if the item is in the same condition as when received and in the original intact packaging. Once we have received and accepted the returned goods, the customer can exchange the item or receive a voucher/gift card. To return physical goods, please get in touch with us at info@affina.space.
Please note that gift cards are non-returnable. When returning the package, the customer must save their postal receipt, which documents that the item has been returned. We cannot compensate for items lost during the return process. Returns of canceled purchases are at the customer's expense. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free shipping for returns, and the customer must cover the shipping cost.
Affina will refund the amount using the same means of payment used by the customer for the original transaction unless the customer has expressly accepted that Affina may refund by other means of payment. If the value of the goods has been significantly reduced due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, properties, and functionality, Affina Space will deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value from the refund.
7.3. Tickets to Physical Events The right of cancellation does not apply to purchases of tickets to a physical event on a specific date unless the event is canceled or moved by Affina Space.
Affina reserves the right to investigate any refund requests to ensure the claim's authenticity and prevent fraudulent activities. Any abuse of the guarantee can result in a refund being refused and the termination of the membership.
8. Expiry of Gift Certificates Affina issues a gift certificate to the holder, meaning that if it is lost, it will not be replaced. It also means that the person possessing the certificate may use it. You may compare the certificates to banknotes, which are not replaced if lost. Gift certificates bought from Affina will expire one year after the issue date unless otherwise expressly stated. The issue date is the date money is withdrawn from the customer. 9. Default Notice - Defects The customer has a right to seek redress for defective products within one year of receiving the physical products. The customer may not claim defects or faults discovered more than one year after the goods are delivered. If the customer discovers that the delivered product is defective, they should inform Affina within a reasonable time after discovering these defects. The customer should know that the 'defective products provisions' of the UK Sale of Goods Act apply to all goods purchased.

We may ask you for specific details about you and your complaint to address it and ask for your prompt cooperation to resolve our differences quickly. We will tell you the outcome of our investigation into your complaint and allow you to discuss it. If we have done something wrong, we will apologize and seek an amicable resolution.
12. Intellectual Property All rights to products, articles, webinars, courses, events, etc., shall belong to Affina. Website users/customers cannot copy or publish content (e.g., articles and webinars) from Affina Ltd unless by Affina's instructions or with our consent. Commercial use of our trademark (name, logo, etc.) is prohibited.
13. Liability Affina does not assume liability for the customer's/user's use of the information on the website/platform. We cannot be held liable for lack of earnings or losses connected to the member's/user's use of the information gained from the website/portal. Affina is not liable for delays or non-compliance with the obligations of the agreement if such non-compliance is due to force majeure. As long as a force majeure situation exists, Affina is exempt from compliance with the commitments.
14. Personal Data The information provided by the customer in connection with placing an order or subscribing to membership will be registered by Affina, who will be the data controller for the information.
